Landon Tooke, COO
Landon Tooke serves as the Chief Operating Officer, Chief Compliance Officer, and Privacy Officer of Impact Healthcare Solutions. He also administers the compliance programs for numerous rural hospitals. Landon served as CEO of Reeves Memorial Medical Center from October of 2009 through November of 2013. During this period, Landon lead the hospital from a period of financial instability, a recovery beginning with four days of available operating capital, to financial stability by increasing net revenue by over 88% and reducing Days in Accounts Receivable by 67%. Landon also served as Interim CEO of LTP Medical Mobile, Inc. from March of 2015 through August of 2015 during which he lead the organization through a full restructuring and financial turnaround. Before joining the Impact team, Landon worked as an executive for Clinical Pathology Laboratories. Responsibilities of this role included increasing market share and infrastructure, developing and implementing sales strategies, developing and maintaining consultative relationships with physicians and their staff, providing training for physicians and staff, strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting, and providing leadership in the successful planning and execution of marketing activities within the region.
Prior to his time operating in the lab industry, Landon served for six years at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, LA. He began his healthcare career as a clinician, assisting physicians in the Cardiac Cath Lab and Special Procedures Lab. Landon served four of those years as a Coordinator for Cardiac Services with focuses in personnel management, inventory management, billing process management, clinical education and case support, procurement, and research.
In 2010, Landon was elected to serve as the Secretary and Treasurer of the Louisiana Hospital Association Northeast District. In 2011, Landon became a founding member of the Louisiana Rural Hospital Task Force. Landon was elected in 2010 to the Board of Directors of the Ruston/Lincoln Chamber of Commerce, served as Secretary and Treasurer in 2013, and was elected to serve as the Board Chairman in 2014. From 2009-2010, Landon served as the Founding Executive Director of Overture Youth Advocacy Through the Arts, a non-profit organization based in Dallas, TX, that promotes and supports art and musical activities across the United States. After serving on the organization’s Advisory Board for the next year, Landon assumed the role of Treasurer and CFO in 2011. In 2014, Landon was elected as the President of the Board of Directors of Beacon Performing Arts Association of Dallas, TX. Landon is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the Medical Group Management Association, the American Academy of Professional Coders, the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics, and the Health Care Compliance Association. Landon is certified as a Professional Compliance Officer by AAPC, certified in Healthcare Compliance by HCCA, and certified as a Compliance and Ethics Professional by SCCE.
